My passion for street eats has made this quest to taste new street food such a big passion, I decided to open my own food truck. Bravo On The Grill which will soon roam the streets of Tampa, FL by day and have a permanent spot by night (to be announced) will serve amazing hamburgers and Spanish meals.

With their JAPADOG's Signature Hot Dog the Terimayo: Teriyaki sauce, mayo and seaweed make for a winning combination which the JAPADOG has been serving in their original cart since 2005.

YO! be loving the sweetness and one of my favorite breakfast is the Italiano breakfast, SQUISITO!(delicious) So if you want to mangiare (eat) a sweet breakfast, the Italian peeps all over from Sicily to Milan enjoy a morning delight filled with coffee and sweet pastries of all kind. Things like eggs, sausage and bacon are considered as lunch and dinner items by the majority of Italians and not breakfast, even if many do have them for breakfast.

The Tampa Bay area has many popular restaurants like the Columbia Restaurant (Ybor City 2117 E 7th Ave Tampa,FL33605) to the Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant (Hyde Park2500 W Azeele St Tampa,FL33609 )which make some amazing and delicious foods. But if you want to go to heart of the street eats in a city you have to hit the food trucks and not the typical joints of high dinning. Luckily for us street cred food ninjas, we have a mayor on our side supporting the small businesses on wheels. The mayor of the city of Tampa, FL, Mayor Bob Buckhorn has created his own food truck celebration every month in the downtown area of Tampa.

YO! The Harlem shake (freestyle dance) has become a craze all over the web world and even foodies and the Louisville Food Truck Association have gotten in the act and created their own version, street food style. One thing fo sho, Louisville knows how to do it big with awsome street food.

Update, YO! is sad to report the Guaguita as of the begining of 2013 is no longer in business :(. Please support your local food trucks so this does not happen. It is sad to loose such a great place to get some amazing street eats.



 
YO! If you’re ever in Tampa, FL, a must stop foodie destination is "La Guaguita" (translated means The Little Bus) food truck which dishes out Puerto Rican comfort food. Located at 5919 West Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, FL 33624 and making delicious meals that your neck hole will slam dunk! I mean the food is so delicious I thought I had a heart attack but it was actually I fainted from the unbelievable food they make.

Street food has been meeting new challenges in recent times, the establishments or as I call them 'THE MAN" wants to bring down the small business food owners on wheels, push carts and stands. New laws are being passed by local governments in the big cities to limit food trucks from making business.
