Update, YO! is sad to report the Guaguita as of the begining of 2013 is no longer in business :(. Please support your local food trucks so this does not happen. It is sad to loose such a great place to get some amazing street eats.
YO! If you’re ever in Tampa, FL, a must stop foodie destination is
"La Guaguita" (translated means The Little Bus) food truck which
dishes out Puerto Rican comfort food. Located at 5919
West Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, FL 33624 and making
delicious meals that your neck hole will slam dunk! I mean the food is so
delicious I thought I had a heart attack but it was actually I fainted from the
unbelievable food they make.
La Guaguita don't play, so be warned you
might have to wear you elastic belt or stretchy pants to eat their food, it’s
so good YO! had to get some extra to take home for later. YOU DIG!
Below is a photo of one of the local favorites and mine Mofongo con Carne Frita, which is crush platains and Spanish season fried beef or pork. DAMN! YO! wrecked the plate and it was asking for mercy, ouch… Go get some!
